The Ferrier Gas Plant provides a wide range of important services for our customers in order to improve their netbacks in addition to processing sweet, natural gas. An on-site, lean oil fractionator provides cost effective, ngl fractionation into spec propane (C3), butane (C4) and condensate (C5) allowing customers to sell higher value spec products, rather than having to truck mix to another facility.
A D13 compliant, fully metered truck rack also allows us to help customers consolidate their non-pipeline connected products from other sites for fractionation and transportation with us. On the outlet of the plant, we produce and sell FXII, a value added, stabilized, hydrocarbon solvent used for swabbing wells to improve production rates.
Our pipeline connected Lochearn rail and truck rack adds further value and improves customer netbacks by aggregating propane and butane volumes and selling them wholesale into larger markets and entities connected to rail as well as truck.
